Your Guide to Child Support in Canada.
Today's video is called, Your Guide to Child Support in Canada.
In this video I will run through the average salaries for various occupations, in increasing order, to show what one would be expected to pay in child support if your ex had sole custody of the children. The average salary figures are based on an article in a job hunting site called Workopolis. The child support amounts that I will show are based on a Federal table that were updated in December, 2011. Of course each divorce will be different, and this does not even touch upon spousal support, otherwise known as alimony, in the states.
The following are the 10 job titles with the most online job postings in Canada. To keep things simple I will display the amounts payable for 1, 2, or 3, children. If you have 4 or more children, you'll be too busy to be on You Tube, and you are probably illiterate as you obviously don't know how read condom instructions.

If your salary is above $150,000, you have reached the end of the table. Any amount made above $150,000, becomes part of a formula instead. A percentage ranging from 0.75% to 1.78%, for 1 to 4 children respectively, is applied to the excess above $150,000. This amount is then added to the base amount of child support at the $150,000 level. The following figures have been calculated.
Here's one example of a high-earning position.
1 child. $1374.
2 children. $2183.
3 children. $ 2827.
if you happened to have 4 children, that would come out to $3387 per month
The one case in this video where it's nice to see someone's hand in a lawyer's pocket for once.
